Lifetime Achievement Award to Professor Sudhakar Nadkarni
It is with great pleasure that Professor Sudhakar Nadkarni was felicitated with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his role in building institutions of design such as IDC at IIT Bombay and the Department of Design at IIT Guwahati. As well as introducing design into management at the We School, speaks of his commitment to reach design through education.
The occasion we have chosen to commemorate him is this international event 'Cumulus Mumbai 2015 - In a planet of our own' that celebrates sustainability in design with special focus on water. The reason to choose this occasion is because Cumulus is the only and the largest international network of universities of Design, Art and Media and the Board members were present for the occasion.
